On November 23, 2024, Stand4Hussain organized a Fatimiyah stand in Oslo city center. Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated youth volunteers, we were able to share insights about the life of Fatima Al-Zahra (AS) with passersby.

Flyers detailing her life and esteemed status in the eyes of the Prophet (S) and the Ahlulbayt (AS) were distributed, along with coffee, tea, and gingerbread cookies (pepperkaker).

On July 20th, 2024, Stand4Hussain held an Ashura-stand in Oslo - replacing the usual annual Arbaeen stand. Thanks to our dedicated youth volunteers we managed to set up stand in the city center to share the story of Ashura with the passing audience.

Flyers about the Battle of Karbala were distributed, along with coffee, lemonade, and cakes lovingly prepared by our volunteers.

On April 20, 2024, Stand4Hussain hosted its first Quran event. Thanks to the volunteer youth of Stand4Hussain, a stand was set up in Oslo city center to shed light on the knowledge and content of the Quran to the Norwegian population. The stand was based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) hadith, often referred to as Hadith Thalaqalain, where he said, "Indeed, I am leaving among you two precious things; the Book of Allah (the Quran) and my family (Ahlulbayt) (...)." It was a humble attempt to inspire people to develop a relationship with the Quran, free from prejudice and hatred, especially in light of the many Quran burnings the past year. Folders with verses from the Quran were distributed at the stand along with hot chocolate. Additionally, there was carried out an experiment where passersby could listen to verses from the Quran and share their reactions and emotions.

On 9th September 2023, Stand4Hussain thanks to its dedicated youth held in Oslo city centre its annual event - the Arbaeen stand - to commemorate the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (pbuh). It was a humble effort in hopes to inspiring people from all walks of life to seek truth and stand up against oppression, injustice and inequality. We sincerely encourage every free-thinking individual to join Stand4Hussain in spreading the words of Imam Hussain( pbuh).

In hopes of encouraging and inspiring people from all ethnicities, cultures and from all walks of life to stand up against oppression, injustice and inequality. Rather we encourage them to join us to stand with the message of Hussain and Stand4Hussain.

We at Stand4hussain organized a small event in connection with Christmas. With this event, we want to show that Muslims have respect for Christmas, and thus wish all Christians a peaceful religious holiday. We do this by sharing small candy bags and Christmas cards.
We handed out about 700 bags containing a clementine, a gingerbread and some raisins.

We have finally completed another successful event on the 26th of October to honor the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain {pbuh}.
In hopes of encouraging and inspiring people from all ethnicities, cultures and from all walks of life to stand up against oppression, injustice and inequality. Rather we encourage them to join us to stand with the message of Hussain and Stand4Hussain.

Stand4Hussain organized one more of the "Hijab and Women in Islam" themed event. With the help of two dozen volunteers and in one of the most crowded areas in Oslo, we handed out free cakes and juice and offered a platform to try the Hijab and have a dialogue. We talked about the most important women in Islam such as Lady Mary (pbuh) - the mother of Jesus, Lady Fatima (pbuh), Lady Khadija (pbuh) - the wife of the holy Prophet (pbuh) and the mother of Lady Fatima (pbuh) and Lady Zainab (pbuh). We also talked about important Muslim women that are known in the media for defending women's right of education and/or the freedom to wear the hijab.
This event took place on Saturday, 6th of April, 2019.

For the 7th year in a row, Stand4Hussain Oslo has had yet another successful Arbaeen stand event on the 11.November.2017. While millions of pilgrims marched towards Karbala, we renewed our pact with the Imam; by spreading the message of Imam Hussain {pbuh} in the cold wintery streets of Oslo and retelling the story of Karbala. Our volunteers handed out 2500 flyers and 3450 cups of hot chocolate, and with the help of Allah we managed to reach many hundreds of people and spread the message of Imam Hussain {pbuh}. Stand4Hussain would like to thank everyone who contributed to make this event such a success. May Allah reward you all.

On the birthday anniversary of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) – Stand4Hussain organized yet another event with the title “Hijab and Women in Islam”. Stand4Hussain gathered 30 volunteers in one of Oslo’s most crowded areas to introduce the term 'Hijab' to the public and create an open platform for dialogue. They talked about the most important women in Islam such as Lady Mary (pbuh) – the mother of Jesus, Lady Fatima (pbuh) and Lady Khadija (pbuh) – the wife of the holy Prophet (pbuh) and the mother of Lady Fatima (pbuh) and Lady Zainab (pbuh). The volunteers also spread information on women’s position in Islam, their rights and contributions to the society. In addition to handing out free cake and juice, a tent was set up where women could try on the hijab. Further down in Karl Johans street one of our volunteers held a poster with the title "What do you associate with Hijab", and anyone could come up and write what they wanted on the poster. This event took place on Saturday, 29th April 2017.

Stand4Hussain, Oslo has once a again had a successful Arbaeen stand on the 19th November 2016. While millions of pilgrims marched towards Karbala, we renewed our pact with the Imam; by spreading the message of Imam Hussain (pbuh) in the streets of Oslo and retelling the story of Karbala. Our volunteers handed out 2000 flyers and 2000 cups of hot chocolate, and with help of Allah we managed to have yet another successful event. Stand4Hussain would like to thank everyone who contributed to make this event such a success. May Allah reward you all.

We are proud to present our 5th annual Arbaeen stand which was held in Oslo, Norway on the 9th of January 2016. Due to some minor difficulties we had to postpone the event with 2 weeks and we were not able to mark the actual day of Arbaeen. If there is anything we have learned from Imam Hussain (pbuh) it is that his message and the battle of Karbala is not restricted to only one day, it is a never ending circle and Imam Hussain’s voice will forever echo in the universe. That is the true definition of “Every land is Karbala and every day is Ashura”. We hope to inspire the rest of the world to stand with the truth.

Once again, Stand4Hussain has managed to organise the annual Arbaeen stand in several cities. By organising such an event we are able to spread the message of Imam Hussain (pbuh) to the Norwegian society. This is the video of the forth Arbaeen event organised by Stand4Hussain team in Oslo. We hope to inspire the rest of the world to stand with the truth.

On the way back from the Holy Prophet’s (pbuh) final pilgrimage, an event that would determine the future of Islam after the Prophet (pbuh) took place. At Ghadir e Khum, the Prophet (pbuh) appointed his successor and leader after him for the Muslim nation, to fulfill the message of Islam. This event secured the religion of Islam and is therefore a highly auspicious occasion.
Stand4Hussain celebrated the appointment of Imam Ali (as) by giving out cakes along with information about this important day.

We handed out sweet bags, while walking in the streets of Oslo telling people about the holy month of Ramadan.

In celebration of the birthday of the Prophet’s best follower, the eloquent king and father of the orphans, Imam Ali {peace and blessings be upon him}, held Stand4Hussain stand near the parliament May 10th to honor his personality and position. It was added focus on his work and commitment to human and women’s rights, and his leadership style.
At the stand we celebrated with cake, flyers were handed out, and we opened for the opportunity to try out the hijab.
The event took place on Saturday, 10.May.2014.

On the birthday anniversary of Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her) – the only surviving child of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through whom Allah continued the lineage of the holy Prophet (pbuh) and who is considered the ultimate role model for Muslim women – Stand4Hussain organized an event with the title “Women in Islam”. Stand4Hussain gathered 41 volunteers in one of Oslo’s most crowded areas. They introduced to the public the most important women in Islam such as Lady Mary (pbuh) – the mother of Jesus, Lady Fatima (pbuh) and Lady Khadija (pbuh) – the wife of the holy Prophet (pbuh) and the mother of Lady Fatima (pbuh). The volunteers also spread information on women’s position in Islam, their rights and contributions to the society. In addition, a tent was set up where women could try out hijab. The event took place on Saturday, 26th April 2014.

In association with the holy month Rabii Al-Awal, Stand4Hussain wanted to celebrate the birth of our beloved Prophet (pbuh) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (pbuh) by handing out roses. Each of the roses had a small two sided card hanging by them, where one side of the card was about the Prophet (pbuh), while the other side was about Imam Jafar Saiq (pbuh). This event was held in Oslo, Ski and Hauketo, where we handed out 4300 roses in total. The aim of this event was to spread the teachings of the Prophet and Ahlulbait (pbut) to the Norwegian people by sharing our joys with them.

After the huge response we got from the first event we had in the world, we decided to make an another rosé event, and be part of the international rosé event started by Stand4Hussain.

The recent events in which our beloved prophet has been mocked and bullied in the film Innocence of Muslims; Stand4Hussain finds it necessary to react.

On 23rd of June 2012, Stand4Hussain.org celebrated the birthday of Imam Hussain (pbuh) in yet another innovative fashion by handing out free food and painting the faces of kids in a market place in Oslo.
