In celebration of the birthday of Master of all women, Fatima al-Zahra (pbuh), the daughter of our Holy Prophet (pbuh & hf), Stand 4 Hussain gathered 41 active young volunteers in one of Oslo’s most crowded areas. The youngsters were promoting Woman’s position in Islam, their rights and contributions to the society. They focused on specific personalities including Mary (pbuh), mother of Jesus, Fatima al-Zahra (pbuh) and Khadija (pbuh), wife of the Holy Prophet (pbuh & hf). Two tents were set up with volunteers handed out juice, pastries, fruit and other refreshments from one stand and giving people the opportunity to try the hijab from the other.
Stand4Hussain has managed to established the yearly tradition of organising stands on Arba’een in the city of Oslo in order to tell people about Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) and his great sacrifice.
